Over the last ten years, Nick Roberts of Heckingham Hall has built up strong herds of Blonde d’Aquitaine cattle, Red Poll cattle and sheep. The animals are grazed on environmentally sensitive areas (ESA).
Nick Robert’s purchase of Heckingham Hall with 200 acres in Norfolk in 2002 fulfilled a dream, and took his total acreage to 500 including arable land, ESA marshes and dedicated countryside stewardship land.
Nick and Lizzie Roberts run this working farm in rural south Norfolk which contains a brass foundry, pedigree cattle and sheep, together with several high quality holiday cottages.
